For this beautiful still life editorial, Art director Lisa Jahovic
Mar Adentro has been designed by an architect Miguel Angel
Aragonés. The coastline location allowed the architects to
expose the horizontal landscape lines, where one can admire
the view of a nearby bay during sunrise and sunset.
FLYING CARPETS
Stockholm-based studio Oyyo has created a series
of carpets inspired by nomadic spirits.
Fascinated by traditional tapestry, only vegetable dyes
were used in the project.
GRAPHIC HOME FURNISHINGS
Patricia Urquiola’s design studio creates exquisitely
graphic furniture with unusual concepts.
The ‘Visioni’ carpet from CC Tapis resembles a 3D structure
thanks to asymmetry and bold use of color.
MARIA SVARBOVA
The dream like scenarios in her photos focus on
minimalism and purity. With elements of surrealism
and art nouveau, the pastel tones make her images
appear as delicate paintings.
SPRING EXHIBITION
The works in the ‘Spring’ exhibition seem to hesitate
between solid, liquid and gaseous. They appear to be
suspended mid-transformation in a poetic state of
metamorphosis.Marble and aluminium become liquid,
onyx becomes air and glass softens as in a return to its
original state.
PALETTE STILL LIFE EDITORIAL
For this beautiful still life editorial, Art director Lisa Jahovic
and Helen Sirp with the help of photographer Thomas Baker
played on a tonal game of painterly surfaces playfully
challenging classical still-life compositions, tying them together
and breaking apart.
